Hajia 4Reall jailed for 1 year by U.S court over romance scam
Mona Faiz Montrage, a singer and socialite from Ghana who goes by the name Hajia4Reall, has been given a one-year and one-day jail sentence in the United States for her role in a romance scam
On November 11, 2022, Hajia4Real was detained in the United Kingdom following his participation in the Ghana Music Awards UK. In May 2023, following her arrest, she was extradited to the United States to stand trial.
Inner City Press says that the prosecution wanted the accused to get 37 months in prison, but the judge decided to be kind. Ms. Montrage is given a sentence of one year and one day in prison, with an additional day added for “good time.” the judge said.
