Unfortunately, the musket exploded upon being fired into a gutter, striking the student in the head and causing instant death.
The Fire Festival, which marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar, was intended to be a joyous celebration. However, authorities had previously warned against the use of guns and other dangerous equipment, urging moderation during the festivities.
Despite these warnings, some individuals, particularly youth, failed to adhere to the safety advisories, leading to this tragic incident. Zebilla, the Assembly Member for Wulensi, confirmed the incident to Channel One News and expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased.
