Sexual Dissatisfaction Causes Unhappiness Among Married Women, Says Charlotte Oduro

Popular Ghanaian counsellor, Charlotte Oduro, has highlighted sexual dissatisfaction as a primary reason for unhappiness among married women. In a viral video shared on Okay FM’s Instagram page, Oduro explained that hormonal imbalances often leave women unsatisfied sexually, and their spouses may be unable to meet their needs.
Oduro noted that many women struggle to communicate their sexual needs to their partners, leading to unhappiness. “You will find most women unhappy left, right, and center, and it’s not because of any other issue but sexual dissatisfaction. It is because of our hormones; it just makes us angry unprovoked,” she said.
She added that the inability to express their desires results in frustration. “The sad thing is they are not able to tell their spouses where to touch and how they want to be pleased and made love to. So instead of communication, most women just express anger and put on long faces,” she explained.
Oduro emphasized that women who can communicate their sexual needs are happier in their marriages. “When a woman is able to communicate their needs when it comes to making love, they always have a smiley face and they are always okay. They flow, and it’s because they have found someone who they can communicate their feelings with effectively,” she said.
She advised women to consistently communicate their needs to their partners to enhance their marital happiness.
This insight from Oduro underscores the importance of open communication in achieving marital satisfaction.
