Times Are Tough, But It’s a Global Issue – Prince David Osei Defends NPP

Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei has voiced strong support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and President Nana Akufo-Addo in light of the economic challenges currently facing the nation.

Speaking at a recent NPP manifesto event, Osei addressed the widespread concerns about economic hardship and argued that these issues are part of a global trend rather than a Ghana-specific problem.

Osei pointed out that many countries, including the UK, the US, and Nigeria, are experiencing similar economic difficulties. He urged Ghanaians to view the situation in the context of these global challenges, suggesting that the current hardships are not unique to Ghana.

Highlighting the NPP’s record, Osei recalled the government’s relief measures during the COVID-19 pandemic, such as providing free electricity and water and offering financial support to small businesses. He framed these actions as evidence of the NPP’s effective leadership and commitment to supporting citizens during tough times.

Osei endorsed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the best choice for the presidency, asserting that the NPP’s focus on digitalization and economic progress is crucial for Ghana’s future. He warned against the National Democratic Congress (NDC), suggesting that their alternative would lead to greater difficulties for the country.

In summary, Prince David Osei urged voters to support the NPP, emphasizing that the party’s continued leadership is essential for navigating both the current economic climate and future challenges.
