YOLO Actor Drogba Speaks on Miraculous Healing at Church After 4 Years of Illness

John Peasah, famously known as Drogba from the YOLO TV series, shared his powerful healing experience on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Christ Embassy’s Airport City crusade in Accra.

Addressing the congregation, Drogba, who has been battling severe health issues for four years, recounted his struggle with Stiff Person Syndrome a rare condition that made it almost impossible for him to sit in crowds or stay in public spaces for long periods.

At the Friday Miracle Night service, Drogba could do things he hadn’t been able to do in years. His sister shared that, until then, he had to wear a face mask when in public as his condition would cause his head to shake, making walking impossible without support.

“For the first time in four years, he was able to walk in a crowd,” she said. Drogba revealed he is the first known Ghanaian diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome and was amazed by his unexpected recovery.

“I find it very hard to walk in public, but today I feel better,” Drogba said, adding that he had tried reaching out for support from others with the condition but found none in Ghana.

Drogba has been open about his challenges, including muscle rigidity, coordination issues, tremors, dizziness, and vision problems. To cover his rising medical costs, he launched a GoFundMe campaign seeking $280,000 for international treatment as his resources had been exhausted.
