Spotify Launches Offline Backup – Bringing Users Another Way to Listen Offline

When the need for music strikes but you’re offline, Spotify has you covered with its new
Offline Backup feature, now available for Premium users worldwide. This innovative option offers another way to enjoy your music offline no downloads required.
Currently, nearly half of Spotify Premium listeners use offline mode to enjoy their favorite audio. With Offline Backup, Spotify takes this further by giving users access to music without using any additional data or storage. The feature works by compiling your queued and recently streamed tracks into a personalized playlist, using cached songs already stored on your device from regular listening.
As you continue to listen, the playlist updates, ensuring you always have fresh music available offline. Plus, you can filter and sort tracks by artist, mood, or genre to suit your vibe.
How to Access Offline Backup:
Automatic Display: The playlist appears automatically on your Home feed when you’re offline.
Requirements: Ensure you’ve listened to more than five songs recently and have offline listening enabled by navigating to Settings -> Data Saving and Offline or Storage, and toggle the Offline Listening option.
Add to Library: You can also add the playlist to your library for quick access.
If you can’t find Offline Backup, make sure your Spotify app is updated to the latest version.
Enjoy your music anytime, anywhere without the hassle of extra downloads or storage.
