Ghana Health Service Announces Placement Schedule for 2020 Nurses and Midwives

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has officially released the placement schedule for the 2020 batch of nurses and midwives. A total of 6,015 applicants, who applied through the Ministry of Health portal and opted to work with the GHS, are required to report to their preferred regions for selection and placement. These individuals must bring their certificates and AIN/PIN from the Nursing and Midwifery Council to complete the process.

Placement Schedule:

  • Monday, 18th – Tuesday, 19th November 2024: Enrolled Nurses
  • Wednesday, 20th November 2024: Community Health Nurses, Registered Community Health Nurses, and Public Health Nurses
  • Thursday, 21st November 2024: Registered General Nurses, Midwives, and Registered Mental Health Nurses
  • Friday, 22nd November 2024: Nursing and Midwifery Officers

 

Important Note

  • Registered Mental Health Nurses are required to report alongside Registered General Nurses and Midwives.
  • Applicants should visit their preferred regional health directorates to complete the placement process.
