Renowned Ghanaian musician Wendy Shay has extended a helping hand to traders devastated by the January 2, 2025, fire that engulfed the Kantamanto Market in Accra.
The fire destroyed over 7,000 shops, leaving more than 30,000 traders displaced and scrambling to salvage their livelihoods.

The celebrated artist, known for her philanthropic efforts, visited the scene to console victims and offer her support. During her visit, Wendy Shay donated GHC10,000 to aid affected traders in restarting their businesses and rebuilding their lives.
