
Gifty Mawunya Dumelo, wife of celebrated actor and Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, has outlined her plans to support her husband’s political career by focusing on initiatives that empower women and children.
Speaking to Pulse Ghana during the inauguration ceremony of President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang on January 7, 2025, at the Black Star Square in Accra, Gifty Dumelo expressed her commitment to social development.
“My focus will be on empowering women and children, ensuring they have access to the tools and resources needed to thrive. This is how I’ll support my husband, John, and help address the needs of our community,” she shared.
