US Court to release Hajia 4Reall for Self Deportation to Ghana After Serving 12-Month Prison Sentence in the US

A US court has granted a request to release Mona Faiz Montrage, popularly known as Hajia 4Reall, to facilitate her deportation to Ghana after completing her prison term.
Hajia 4Reall is currently serving a 12-month sentence at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia after pleading guilty to conspiracy to receive stolen money. She was sentenced on June 28, 2024, for her role in a fraud scheme that defrauded individuals and businesses in the United States between 2013 and 2019.
Legal Proceedings
On November 1, 2024, her legal team, Fast Law, requested the release of her passport to initiate self-deportation proceedings. Court records reveal that prosecutors did not oppose the motion. US District Judge J. Paul Oetken approved the request, directing that her passport be handed over to her attorneys.
Penalties and Supervised Release
In addition to her prison sentence, the 32-year-old Ghanaian influencer was ordered to forfeit $216,475 and pay $1,387,458 in restitution. Upon her return to Ghana, Hajia 4Reall will also serve three years under supervised release.
This court ruling paves the way for her return to Ghana after her sentence ends.
